PRGC is a must play when in the Phoenix area. Having played The Duke just two days prior, this course just doubled down on the layout and overall condition. The tee box’s are plush and level- The fairways are just great with zero dry spots or trouble-(I’d say phenomenal and plush putting it bluntly) Chipping areas near the greens were immaculate- The waste areas were very clean and playable if you were off the fairway rough- Greens were just great, a little firm- Only problem was pin placement. For some reason someone thought everyone was Rory or Justin Rose with some of these flag locations. As even the local twosome stated it makes zero sense for the average golfer to have to putt at some of these locations. Overall it was only on about 5-6 holes to be fair to the course. However -save the Masters flag locations for members tournaments and qualifiers. Overall this course, clubhouse and pro shop is 5 star all the way around. The staff was super friendly and accommodating from the cart girl, the Marshall, the pro shop and restaurant. If you’ve never played here put it on your list. You will not be disappointed!⛳️🏌️♂️
