What people say about (The Club at Starr Pass)

Dustin Simon

Star Pass offers a solid golfing experience, with the Pioneer and Palmer courses I played on Saturday morning in excellent condition. The greens were well-maintained, and the overall layout was enjoyable. However, at around $125 per person, it sits at a higher price point than some other courses in the area, leading to expectations of a more complete experience. Currently, the clubhouse is under renovation, which significantly impacts the amenities. Food options are limited to a food truck with only three menu items, and the $9 price tag for a beer feels steep considering the temporary setup. Restroom facilities are also temporary and located outside. Adding to this, I heard that Star Pass will be undergoing green renovations this summer, which will reportedly leave only the Palmer course available for play. This is something to keep in mind for those planning to visit in the coming months. Despite these temporary inconveniences, the quality of the golf itself shines through. If course conditions are your top priority and you don't mind the limited amenities during the renovation, Star Pass still delivers a good round of golf. Once the clubhouse renovations are complete, this could easily be a 5-star experience. For now, it's a strong 4 stars based on the excellent course conditions.

Love it !!! Wonderful layout, greens and fairway are in great shape. Challenging but fair - not for beginners. Slope for women from the forward tees is 130 - pretty high for women. Just beautiful Southern views - every hole is different. Very friendly staff. Great experience, can't wait to go back.
