Executive 9 with artificial grass tee boxes and greens. Easy to walk up and play, reasonable fee; they have a few slightly different tee boxes to make 18 different on the second go around. Irons only: needed, not mandated. The fairways are quite challenging as they are very narrow between trees and also aren’t actually mowed down to a “fair” way. I had fun working the tee shots. Greens played like putt-putt with the speed. Generally enjoyable but not quite golf-y enough for 5 stars. There is disc golf/they were adding the last couple disc golf holes as of June 2023.
Buzz has been totally supportive in my efforts to get my 5 year old into golf. The course is nice and plays well. The greens and tees are turf, so they play faster than normal, but it also allows the course to open sooner and stay open later in the season. Great little pitch and putt. Family friendly, not often crowded. Nice driving range. Maybe not a destination course, (although I suspect it's the western most course in North America.) Definitely a local gem.
Love this place. We walk through it every day, rain, shine, or snow with our pup. It's safer than through the neighborhoods in AP and everyone that walks through seems to have the understanding we have of not letting the pup use the bathroom on the green! Really glad to live so close to it
