Cherokee Ridge

ARAB, AL!! This is an amazing course. Tucked away in a secluded area off a major highway (231). The atmosphere of staff were great. Cart girls and workers were great. We took a group of 12 this year and played Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! ( 90 holes) We stayed at the lake house and enjoyed every second of the time here!

I used to play this course years back and always held the course in high esteem but the maintenance of the course has certainly deteriorated over time and it was disappointing. The layout of the course is awesome but fairways are sparsely covered, bunkers unplayable, just heartbreaking. I'm unsure of the reasons for this or their financial situation but the greenfee of 72.00 is not justified. Sad to say, sad to see.

I played here twice in the last week, and the value is pretty incredible. The layout is great and requires just about every shot you have. The greens are consistent, fairways are nice and tee boxes are flat. For $25-30, you can’t beat it. If you play for the first time, there is nothing available to show you the routing of the holes. Also no signage on the course which did make for some confusion at 1 green and 17 tee. That said, I’ll be back 100%.
