One of the Best 9 holes in Alabama. The staff was super friendly as were the members. We were fitted in around the daily Dogfight. The course is simple yet extremely challenging with smallish greens. although dormant putted extremely well. Nice clubhouse lots of drinks and snacks.... and very reasonable to play.....
Poor service and staff. After driving 30 minutes to play we walked in at 5:32 and was sternly turned away by the lady up front who said the last cart time was at 5:30 as we saw someone pulling up to the first hole. We were there before 5:30 but didn’t walk in to pay until 5:32. The whole situation and lack of kindness just doesn’t sit well with me, so I hope two minutes was worth losing a paying customer.
I started playing this course in 2024 and really enjoyed it. Nice layout, decent grass in the fairway, and overall just a fun little course. Little bit overpriced for what it is but whatever. Every time I had shown up to play, multiple different ladies were working in the pro-shop. These ladies were nice as can be. The last three times I have played at the course, it’s been an older guy working. This man is the rudest person ever. If I owned the course, there’s no way this man would work for me. He’s rude to customers and is running off business. Be prepared to deal with him if you choose to play here. They also charged for my wife to ride in the cart with me and she’s not playing golf. I can understand that on a really fancy course but this place isn’t fancy by any means.
