What people say about (Little Mole Country Club)

Josh Gooch

Such a fun little course. No need for driver on most holes, and you can score with long irons and wedges. There are a few holes that you can miss driver and still score, so those are fun to take advantage of. Last hole is a risk/reward over the water par 4. Usually doesn’t pay off for me, but like giving it a shot. Island green is a great hole for a team pic, and also a great hole to lose your golf ball!

I haven't had the pleasure of going golfing here yet but their golf course is beautiful I take my son fishing here they have three ponds that are fully stocked and the view at sunset is absolutely breathtaking. Great customer service fishing all day long is only $3 I don't know about golfing but I do know they have their own golf carts there that have 18 holes and the people that I see there look like they're having a great time definitely recommend going to this place if you come to mentone and you love to golf or fish

Fantastic course hidden away in Mentone, AL atop Lookout Mountain. We are vacationing here for Spring Break this week, and our 11 year old daughter and I enjoy playing golf. We saw there was a course here in town and decided to give it a shot. We found a very well maintained course with new carts, new clubhouse, and well maintained fairways and greens. Fairways can be narrow and usually there are trees in “perfect” spots waiting to swat your ball down if you don’t hit it well off the tee box. The grass in the rough can be thick in some areas but you can play out of it and find your ball. The only spots where lost balls come into play (other than the water, more on that in a minute!) are on the perimeter of the course where fences and forests exist. It’s not too difficult to avoid. The layout is fun and challenges you to hit your driver/woods/long irons well off the tee boxes. This course has water. Lots of water. Particularly on the island green hole # 9 and then the last several holes on the back 9. The island green was great, didn’t expect to find this here, but getting ready to play at TPC Sawgrass next week, this was great practice for the 17th hole there. You also have to hit over water on holes 10, 15, 17, and 18. Depending on which tees you play from and the wind, it can be a challenge to get it there. Being up on the mountain and a pretty open course combined with some sloping fairways, this can add an extra challenge on most holes on this course. If you get a chance, check this course out, it’s fun, yardages are a little shorter but there is plenty of challenge there given the layout and wind. The staff is great, the lady working in the clubhouse was super nice and made us all feel very welcome. Will definitely play it again!
