Lakewood Golf Course

I’m not understanding why this course does not take the reviews seriously, or attempting to fix the discrepancies that many visitors have discussed. I entertained some potential clients there for a meeting, I paid for their round because of the courses they have played on before I.e., Augusta, TP Sawgrass, Donald Trump course in Florida. I was embarrassed for Lakewood the way that they talked about and took pictures of the greens, the putting surface. So now I have to travel to Calloway Gardens or to Atlanta for a respectable outing and successful meeting. May I suggest shutting down the course for a few months in the fall, to make the necessary repairs and be a competitive and competent golf course.

the greens were horrible i could of putted better on my grass at home we pushed the golf carts more then we rode in them they kept cutting off . you can't ride the carts to your vehicle. Just a huge disappointment. they should of paid us to play there lol

Terrible experience, carts kept dying on the cart path. Cart died had to push it in neutral to get it working. The greens are terrible, fairways were a mess, irrigation lines with gravel all throughout the course and front desk guy was passive aggressive. Never coming back or recommending go friends.
