I visited for the first time today. The course is affordable, well maintained, and beautiful. The green fees on the weekend is $27 w/tax and cart too. The course is located in Columbiana about a 35-45 minute drive from Birmingham. I will visit this course again.
Great short game course. Greens are better shape this summer but not so good in spring or fall. For the price it's worth trying.

Great place to play if you like made up rules about golf cart etiquette, an older man that shouldn't be talking to the public, and a course that closes whenever he says it closes. I have played this course several times previously, but it seems the "fun and welcoming" atmosphere is no more. We play about once a week at courses all over and have never seen anything like our last round here. Terrible. We will take our business elsewhere and not worry about an old man smoking a cigarette driving up and talking down to us as if we legitimately did anything wrong. For a course that looks like it's struggling on rounds per day, they might want to revisit their employee interaction.

We continued to play and he was throwing a fit. When we pulled in at 7:25, he told us when he tells us to bring our carts in he means it. We asked if the course closes at 7:30 and said yea but he wanted to have all the carts washed before then. Horrible service and will never be back.
This course was in terrible shape. I drove 1-1/2 hrs to meet my two sons there to play on 2/24/18 and i was so disappointed, especially since we asked how the course was and was told to believe it was in better shape than we were actually told. If they would have just been honest instead of trying to decieve me just to get my $29.00. I recall only 2 greens that even had grass in them, they were all covered in sand. The only green you could see was #1 and #18 and they only had about 30% grass. We have played there several times so we expected a honest answer on what shape the course was in. I never plan nor do my sons ever plan to spend money there again.
