Aroostook golf course

The organization I play golf with had a tournament at Aroostook. I went to the driving range to warm up and it was one of the worst ranges I've seen in years. The balls were really old and I couldn't even get a tee into the ground. They have no putting green or chipping area. When It finally came time for us to go to the tee we had to cross a busy street to get a here. The tee boxes are terrible and the cart paths are a combination of gravel,dirt and broken concrete. The one bright part of the day were the greens. They were actually pretty good surprisingly. Slow but good. Unless they improve vastly I can't see myself going back there.

One of the best bang for your buck courses around. You can’t pay this kind of price and expect RTJ quality. With that said, staff is always nice, greens are always great. The course stays busy for a reason. The only knocks are the cart path, no putting green and maybe a couple tee boxes. Otherwise the layout is solid, easily walkable, a nice mixture of short and long holes if you play from the blues. Again, best bang for your buck around.
