What people say about (Shell Landing Golf Club)

Course was in fantastic shape. Greens ran and tee boxes immaculate. Sadly it was the service that was quite lacking. For a 3:06pm tee time me and my two buddies paid ~$400 to rent clubs and play 18 with cart. The rentals were Cobras seemingly from the early 2000s, maybe the 90s. A putter easily from the 80s. ($30 rental) Came with no balls and no tees. We played the entire front 9 without seeing the cart girl. (Was told the quit at 5pm) Upon finishing our round (7pm) the entire clubhouse was locked up and the only person left was the cart barn guy. I’ve played local municipal course with more to offer for way less. Enjoyed the course. But sadly will look elsewhere for where to make a regular appearance.

I played Shell Landing during a long golf vacation across the South back when I lived in NJ. What a great course to play, very picturesque with many challenging holes. I hope to return there one day to enjoy the course again.

Wow what an amazing track. Conditions are perfect. Nice to finally play a course with greens that were not freshly punched. The course was relatively empty but I ended up catching a twosome then a single joined on the back nine. Warm up area was nice and spacious. Plenty of space for chipping, putting, and hitting all clubs. It was windy today so it kept the bugs away according to the locals I got paired with. Range balls were cleaned and in decent condition. Recommend putting sings up for distances on the range. Also recommend when checking in to let players know pin positions because all pins were the same color flagsticks. I was not sure if the flags were accurate based on the GPS. Plenty of water cans but no beverage cart to be seen today, granted it was Easter Sunday. No Marshall either. Pro shop was well stocked and bathroom was a bit dated but cleaned. I would definitely play here again as it was not too far from NOLA.
