This course is one of the most beautiful in the state, but for $100 on Friday-Sunday I have some serious concerns. First of all, they don’t take cash anymore. Kinda weird but whatever. The chipping green practice area is in such terrible shape I almost couldn’t even find it when looking for it amongst the other big patches of untended mountainside grasses. There are no cart/service employees out on the course to offer refreshments during your round, which is maybe a little far fetched of me to expect but I paid $100 so I don’t think it’s too crazy of an expectation at that price. The staff didn’t mention anything about cart path only and there weren’t any signs out, however the GPS on the cart did notify me on a few holes that I couldn’t deviate from the path, however this was a total lie and it’s as if the staff just didn’t update their system for the day because just about every hole would geo-lock me out of my cart despite their being no warnings about staying on the cart path. I literally had 1 hole my entire round that I could drive on the fairway, and there were maybe only 5 holes that had a notification telling me that I couldn’t leave the path. I might as well have just walked my round at that point. The staff are friendly and the course is beautiful, but for the price… I expected a lot more. I hope they get it together soon.
Greens redone a couple years ago, the greens have to be one of the best in the state. Bunkers were also redone. Fairways are ok, a few fairways need to fill in and have tough time. Cart path only for 3, 8, 10, and 11 (non par 3s). Overall, great course and fantastic layout.
First time I’ve ever played the course, it’s a great course just tucked away and fun. Big elevation changes which makes tee shots way tighter and the greens are in great shape along with fully grown in fairways in the start of may!
