Very nice course and pleasant! Gardendale High School Girls Golf enjoyed their match!

Went for the Sunday lunch buffet. I'd give the lamb chops 4/5 stars but the salad was a measly 1/5. Everything else was a respectable 3/5, like Shoney's. Service was good and people were friendly. Honestly it would be 5 stars if they had decent salad.

Often seems understaffed but the Sunday afternoon buffet is excellent. Roast beef, Turkey, and about 20 other items plus a salad bar and a dessert bar for just over $22 is a pretty good bargain considering the quantity and quality of the food. I often see a slight wait to be seated here despite tables being readily open- I assume this is a result of being understaffed, but this has been the case for the 3+ years that I've eaten here so it's not being fixed. Still, the wait doesn't scare me off- the food is worth it. I don't golf but the course looks decent. The main building itself is current going under a much needed remodel so that should make things here even nicer.
