Colonial Golf Club

Great course; have played it before in tournaments. There is no driving range, so the first tee can be a bit nerve wracking. Saturday morning was quite busy; however, that's to be expected. Course was in good shape.

Great course! First time playing golf in Alabama, I'm from Orlando, and it was truly a fantastic time!! Thank you! Not overcrowded, the Marshall kept the flow going, overall, a tremendous experience!!

This 18-hole, 72-par course is beautifully designed, with lush greens, well-maintained fairways, and challenging rough. Recent renovations include flawless grass carpets and superbly renovated greens, enhancing the overall playability. The facilities are top-notch, featuring a welcoming clubhouse and a pro shop. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable visit. The cart boys deserve special mention for their enthusiasm and mannerisms. As a veteran, I appreciated the much-appreciated discount, showing the club's support for the military community. The only minor drawback was the ultra sensitive GPS cart-locking system, which occasionally stopped the cart on the path. Additionally, the absence of a driving range might be noticed by some, but the course itself offers plenty of opportunities to warm up. Despite these minor inconveniences, Colonial Golf Club provides an outstanding blend of challenge, beauty, and hospitality. Whether you're a seasoned golfer or a beginner, this course offers a memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a top-tier golfing adventure.
