You owe it to yourself to look up this little Gem....it’s 5 star as in its one of the friendliest and fun place to golf not looking ratty or worn out the locals would never divulge this place....Biggest driving range in North Alabama 350 yards long 100yards wide.....WoW

Where to start? This is the second tournament I’ve played at this course to help out Asbury Fire Department. The first that year we played, they didn’t have enough carts. One of the ladies there was rude about it. We’re there supporting the community and you don’t have enough carts? Cut off the registration at a certain amount. This latest tournament was an even bigger disaster. The lady running it never said anything about tickets for a drawing when I paid, but did remind us in her overview before going out, that if we didn’t get them, to see her. At the end of the tournament, we turned in our scores, ate, and we’re waiting around to see the results like every tournament does. While waiting, I find out we now need to turn in those drawing tickets. I was told to put my phone number on it, but someone in our group wasn’t told this, and had already dropped his tickets in the box. When we went to one of the ladies working there, she was very rude cutting us off. Saying not to interrupt her when we were just trying to make sure his number could be left in case he won. Then she said it didn’t matter because that was just something extra they were doing. Well, it does matter! We paid our money just like everyone else and deserve to be treated the same! That woman was so hateful and rude. You just don’t treat a customer like that. Then after waiting around for over an hour, we find out that there’s a second wave of people playing the tournament in the afternoon. We learned we wouldn’t find out scores until the end of the day or the next day. First of all, nothing was said about this. We were never told any of this in the pre-tournament overview. We also never had the option to choose morning or afternoon play. To make matters worse, I found out that one team only had two players instead of three. They let the best player play two balls. Thats not fair at all. If you don’t have enough for a team, you should have to withdraw. Someone also told me that if you didn’t like your score, you could pay to play again for a better score. WHAT? Is this a joke? Really? They also counted the long drive for a man that was teeing off from the reds because of his age. The guy could hit it as far as most people. While this didn’t have any effect on me, because I didn’t hit a good drive on that hole, it did for many of the other people playing. You could take the longest hitter out there and it’s not going to matter when a guy is starting out 75 yards ahead. Make everyone tee off from white or blues for that unless you’re female. Needless to say I won’t Be playing a tournament there again due the lack of understanding of how to actually run a golf tournament.

I love this place! Before my dad passed this was our favorite course. We went every weekend and weekdays almost. Unfortunately I haven't been since he passed. I felt bad if I was to go. Although I want to go with my son. Highly recommend this course!!!!
